From the city to the Inca bridge (238 km) Approximate journey of 9 hours. Potrerillos, Uspallata, Penitentes, Punte del Inca.
High Mountain
Location 238 km (to Puente de Inca) West of the province of Mendoza. Itinerary: We recommend leaving early around 8:30 to 9:30 to make the most of the day. The approximate duration of the tour is 8 to 9 hours. Our proposal: Departure by international route number 7, Potrerillos, where we will appreciate an incredible reservoir and its dam, then we will find the Uspallata valley where we will take the opportunity to have a coffee and appreciate the oasis that this valley represents in the mountain. We will continue on our way to the Punte del Inca, a unique place for its history and beauty, where there is a natural bridge with hot springs. Previously we will have passed through other points of interest such as Polvadera, Punta de vaca and Los Penitentes ski center. About 5km from the Inca bridge is the Aconcagua National Park where we can appreciate the Colossus of America, which measures 6,962 meters above sea level. Placing it as the highest hill of our continent, then we will resume our way back where we will have lunch for a good Argentine barbecue or à la carte menu, as you prefer. We recommend going with sportswear and sneakers and not forgetting the camera. The landscapes, the different shapes of the mountain and its color, undoubtedly make a unique and incomparable setting of our Andes mountain range.
